Cash for Kids

Congratulations on being named an employee of the month! What reason were you nominated for?
I was nominated for my work on the new letter of complaint and questionnaire over the last few months.

What are your day-to-day responsibilities?
I’m a case handler and I am responsible for claims, form the client returning their pack until the case is either won or has been rejected by the lender and needs to be taken further. I also help the admin team with client emails and submitting claims to the Financial Ombudsman.

What is your chosen charity?
Cash for Kids! I had heard about this charity a lot from listening to the radio in the mornings, and I wanted to choose a charity that helped people around Newcastle.

What do you like about working at Allay?
The best part is the people I work with every day. It makes the job easier and when you get along so well. I also feel that I have developed new skills and gown since I started in 2016.

What did you want to be when you were younger?
I have no idea why, but I wanted to be a Metro driver, but I’ve gone down an entirely different path in life.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love going to the cinema, probably too much, I eat out as often as I can with my girlfriend and friends, and I try to get a bit of exercise in where I can.

What the biggest must do on your bucket list and why?
I have always wanted to take a road trip across America to visit most of the biggest cities between New York and LA.
